Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Berhubungan Dengan Perilaku Pencegahan Covid-19 Pada Keluarga Usia Lanjut Di Wilayah Kecamatan Sukoharjo

Abstract

The widespread spread of Covid-19 in families requires prevention efforts. Good knowledge and attitudes about preventing the transmission of Covid-19 will be able to show health care behavior in order to maintain health status, especially the elderly who are at risk of comorbidities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 prevention behavior in elderly families in the Sukoharjo district. This type of descriptive correlative research uses a cross sectional research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and a sample of 37 elderly families who have a risk of comorbidities. The data analysis technique used was the Kendall'Tau correlation test. Results: There is a significant relationship between knowledge and Covid-19 prevention behavior in elderly families with a correlation coefficient of 0.384 p value: 0.003. There is a significant relationship between attitudes and Covid-19 prevention behavior in elderly families with a correlation coefficient of 0.5999 nial p: 0.000. Good knowledge and attitudes have a relationship with Covid-19 prevention behavior in elderly families.
